Qantas First Lounge

Sydney International Airport, Sydney NSW , Australia • Map • Website

The good news: there is a place in Sydney where you can get an excellent Eggs Benedict. The bad news: it's in the Qantas First Class lounge at the International Airport. This means the only people who can enjoy this tasty morsel are those travelling internationally, either in First Class or who are Qantas Platinum (oneworld Emerald) frequent flyers.

Should you have the luxury of visiting the lounge around breakfast time, the Eggs Benedict are definitely worth a try. We have frequently flown domestic sectors on an international flight just to sample them.

We have always found the eggs perfectly poached, the muffin toasted just right and the hollandaise delightfully light and tangy. The ham has always been of excellent quality as well. As an added bonus, you can get a really good coffee to drink with it.

And of course the best part of having the Eggs Benedict here is all the other features of the lounge, not least of which is the spa. If you have sufficient time before your flight, you can have a massage as well as breakfast. There aren't too many other places where you can do that as well as get such good Eggs Benedict (except possibly the Qantas First Lounge in Melbourne!).
