I had the tasting menu (89€) which is nominally 8 courses but I also had an amuse bouche, sorbet (tomato w/a basil mousse on top) and 3 desserts instead of 1. To go with the food I had a couple of glasses of 99 Dom Perignon Champagne (yes – they had it by the glass!) and a ½ bottle of 2000 Clos du Vougeot grand cru. The grand cru was not cheap at 99€ for a ½ bottle but was very good.

The food was incredible both in variety and taste (who would think of combining duck liver – foie gras – with rare tuna?). The cheese cart was a wonder to behold with about 40 different cheeses to select from. I had a 7 cheese tour of the local cheese makers. The only let‐down of the meal was the dessert wine by the glass but I was willing to forgive them that.
