Taller de Tapas
Placa Sant Josep Oriol 9, 08002 Barcelona, Spain • +34 (0933) 018 020 • MapIf you find yourself in Barcelona and hungry for some squid or sardines then this is the bar for you. The fish lying behind the glass counter look so fresh you almost expect them to wriggle. We tried the tasty flash fried whitebait in flour and some superb sardines.
I came to Barcelona for a job interview and made sure that I stayed for lunch. I didn’t get the job but I’ll never regret the lunch. Simple food cooked well and washed down on a sunny day in this lovely square with a large glass of beer. Life doesn’t get much better.
